Interested in creating your own block–printed cards or fine art prints? Learn all the basics of printmaking with soft blocks (similar to, but much easier to work with, than linoleum block or wood block printing) and non–toxic, water–soluble inks. You will learn how to design and cut the block for printing, and how to ink and print greeting cards and fine art prints. Call to reserve a spot, or sign up online!
If you'd like an invitation to join us, when this workshop is scheduled and registration opens, please contact Karen.
If you like, bring some images you might like to make block prints of – drawings? Photographs? We'll be carving 4"x 6" blocks.
To see photographs of the printmaking process from 2010's two–day printmaking workshop, go to Karen's art teaching blog here at www.NapaValleyArtCamp.blogspot.com.
