Cold Fusion – Sculpture Without Welding
Taught by Josanna Borelli-Zavala, at her Napa studio
Cold fusion is a practical, safe method of joining pieces together without soldering or welding. With the use of drill, rivets, bolts, screws, wire, and adhesives, you will be able to produce functional and/or decorative art from the combination of any metal, wood, stone glass and recycled objects. Though not necessary, participants are GREATLY encouraged to bring ANY OBJECT(s) of interest, collected treasures, and artifacts, large or small to be reinvented into sculpture. The workshop cost will include a wide range of materials for use and all studio tools. Comfortable clothing, an old t-shirt and closed-toed shoes are recommended.
