Family and Friends — mixed media painting with acrylics and collage

Would you like to create your paintings using photographs of your family and friends?

These sample mixed media paintings — Dear Santa and Me and My Dad — are 8” x 10”, the size of canvas you’ll be working on. Their images were printed out on 8.5” x 11” paper with a laser printer.

What To Bring With You:

Printouts of whatever you think you'd like to work with — no original photographs! Either black and white or color copies work well — whichever you prefer. Size them to fit onto an 8” x 10” canvas.
Bring any sayings, quotations, poems, or other items you’d like to include, too. Print the text in different sizes, so you have more options to see which size works best in the painting.)

I will also bring photos of my own and images from my collection of vintage photographs, which you are welcome to use, in addition to plenty of decorative papers, paints, and the other supplies I'll provide.
